BOB HOWARD 1968 - 1986 AIRCRAFT MECHANIC DEN My father, J.R. "Bob" Howard, was employed with Frontier airlines from 1968 until the time (sometime in the mid to late '80s) when it was merged with Peoples Express. He passed away on 23 May, 1995 in Sarasota, Florida, and was buried in Florida National Cemetery. He was very much a member of the Frontier "family" and I have fond memories of my many visits "hanging out" with the flightline maintenance crew. Frontier was - and still is - very much a "family", and your online memorial to those family members who have passed is a fitting tribute to their memories. CW4 Scott H. In early 68 we all came over to Frontier. Scott probably remembers the day his dad went to work with flowers drawn on top of his head, that he was totally unaware of. When it was pointed out to him he laughed as loud as the rest of us. A few years ago I stopped in Hudson and checked the phone book for Bob but I guess he had already passed away, the herd is thinning out fast. -Bob Baxter (10/21/14)
