"Bill" went to work as a mechanic for Monarch Airlines, April 21, 1948.
He was a Lead Mechanic in EOS (Engine Overhaul Shops) when FAL shut down in Aug. 1986.

but the last one - for 35 years - came in 1983 which would be the 1948 hire date.
I'll use the Apr 1948 date.
