I found her on the 1986 seniority list as B M Tyson - 10/31/83 seniority date.  
Did she go by Bettina, Betty, ?  Do you have an obituary and/or other pix?

She did go by Bettina and TIna. 
She also came to United in '86. Her first initial on United's seniority list was M.
