A J phoned about his subscription and how much to renew
since his expired in Oct.
He said he would send me $24 for two years.
Al said he was 65 when he retired after working for F9 awhile.
Has a little spread and raises turkeys and stuff.

PASSING OF A. J. LITTLEFIELD
I would like to let you and all of our Frontier family that A.J. Littlefield passed away Monday.  
Had been battling cancer for a while now.   
A.J.  was Lead Mechanic on DEN line - mostly on the grave yard shift.  
He was originally from the Chicago area which he got lot of hell for especially during some election votes.  
Kept the grave shift on some what straight and narrow but always had the plane for the morning trip.  
Was a long time member of Brighton Elks Lodge # 1586 and past exalted ruler.  
Will be missed by a lot of FAL family.

I had been wondering how he was since he let his FL newsletter subscription lapse several months ago.
Did he go by A,J, or Al - I have it both ways in my FLiles?
I'll let the FLamily know.

He was the first lead mech I had on graveyard. 
Hard charging old school guy. 
During the blizzard of 82' I was told he took a big huff tractor 
off the airport grounds to check on something at home. 
That might be hard to do in todays world at the airport. 
Sorry to hear of his passing due to cancer.

I remember A.J. As a friend and good mechanic.
We worked on the same shift, he mech and me in A/C appearance, always keeping all in their toes.
