14th Annual Denver “Original” Frontier Airlines Golf Tournament
OPEN TO ALL FORMER FRONTIER EMPLOYEES,FAMILY MEMBERS or A FRIEND
WHEN: Friday, June 19, 2009 - At 10:00 A.M.
WHERE: Park Hill Golf Course, 4141 E. 35th Ave., Denver, Colorado
(just east of Colordo Blvd. on 35th ave.)
COST: $50.00 per person. Includes Green Fee, Cart, Contest Holes, and Prizes.
FORMAT: “Blind Draw” Play your own game. If you have a foursome, fine, if not you will be assigned one.
There will be a random drawing afterwards to make up a “Blind Draw” of foursomes. Best scores win.
Many contest holes. (long drive, pin shot, longest putt, etc.)

(Oneida Way is between Monoco and Tamarac off of Hampden Ave)
From Hampden and Oneida Way take Oneida Way north about 2 blocks to Lane #1
and turn right to 3 Fountains Condos Clubhouse - lots of parking.
All pilots and flight attendants are welcome but, like before, bring your own libations.
There will be ice and mix available at the party.
If you feel like it you can also bring a snack to share.

In spite of rainy, overcast and very windy day, we had 187 dedicated FAL folks show up the picnic.
We did a raffle for many great items including a GPS system,
$200 in cash, a couple of framed pictures of the 737
and the CV580 signed picture by Richard Broome, and some other useful items.
Our meal was Bennett's BBQ and of course we ate plenty.
A lot of the regular attendees came and some who have attended off and on over the years.
Larry Johnston, son of Wayne Johnston, brought some items from the 60's for sharing,
Lanette Duncan, Kathy and Chuck Farenholz brought books of pictures of employees of years gone by.
Interesting stories to be told.
Our committee had ordered T-shirts with a history of the airline on the shirts
and we have some still available if anyone is interested.
The cost is $10 per shirt.
While next year is the 24th anniversary, we are already talking about the 25th in 2011.
Our plan for 2010 is to host on the 3rd Saturday of June.
We can't book our reservations until after the 1st of the year so in January we will know for certain.
Hope all other picnics had a great time and big success.

Just wanted to give you the news about the FAL SLC Reunion.
It was a huge success!!
Had about 80 people there and three that hadn't been before and we hadn't seen since the closing of FL.
Everyone enjoyed the catered lunch of BBQ ribs and chicken,
and the lunch was free due to the gracious donations of the former FL employees and their familes.
We are hoping next year will be just as enjoyable and fun.
It will be on the third Saturday in June, same as the past five years.
The 2010 date is June 19th.
We hope everyone will mark their calendars and be there.
