I was reading the list of Station Agents who have passed away today. 
I did not see the name of Tommy Smith, 
who worked the El Paso Station for many years. 
I believe he died a couple of years back of cancer. 
But you might want to confirm that.
I really don't know if his name was Thomas or Tommy 
(which is what everyone called him). 
I'm sure he worked the El Paso Station right up to closing. 
I'm sure they continued to live in El Paso after that, 
but I lost contact with most of the guys down there when I was transfered to Omaha.

It took 13 years to verify Tommy's flight west.
Finally got it done thanks to some files that Carolyn Boller sent me.
Still need a photo and obituary for Tommy.
