Turns out he was 5 months younger and went to work after I did. One day Rwy 8/26 had about 500-1000 feet closed for some kind of work. Frontier and Western flights had enough room on the remaining 7,600 feet to operate. The NOTAM stated how much runway was left for use. Beautiful sunshine day, Tom and I were checking passengers in for FL 361 and 301 both going to Denver. I think it was 361 which was the first flight. Flight called in and said it was bypass because of runway Construction. Tom went in back room and over the radio to the flight crew and said something along the line.... mentioned the NOTAM and we had earlier flights land. Conversation ended when Tom said, "If you don’t know how to fly, park the damn thing." Tom got a day off without pay for saying Damn on the radio. Pilot got time off for failing to read NOTAMs. I think Tom decided he could make more money selling insurance with less stress and a few weeks later quit Frontier. -Roger Greenlee (11/16/17) Prayers for his family and friends. -Trish Swanson-Hawk (11/16/17)
