Here's the other photo........I'm sending these separately as they transmit faster that way. Use either one as you see fit. -Yvonne Harding (3/24/05) My late husband, Tom Harding, went to his usual 6:00 a.m. shift on the ramp that Sunday morning. I was still asleep in bed at 8:00 a.m. when he suddenly was back home. Coming into our room, he just said "It's all over". Even though we'd thought something was going to happen, this was a surprise. Tom later went on to a 15 year career with the City of Aurora, but he never forgot August 24, 1986. -Yvonne Harding (8/25/05) I think I once mentioned our experience with the final day.... It was a Sunday and my husband Tom (Harding, DEN SA) left home in time for his 6 a.m. shift. I was still in bed when our door opened again an hour later and Tom came back in and said "It's all over". That ended his 19 years with FL. Shortly thereafter, he was fortunate to find a temporary courier position with the City of Aurora, CO, and 8 months later went permanent. He retired after 15 years, but always recalled the good times at FL. I still have a newspaper ad which showcased FL staff one Christmas by positioning groups of them in a large Christmas tree formation...... the caption says "Now's the season to count your blessings...." On 8/24/86, there weren't too many left to count. -Yvonne Harding (8/25/08) T W HARDING Station agent seniority date of 11/14/67, emp# 03453, on the 1/1/86 FL/ALEA seniority list. -Jake Lamkins (10/30/10)
