THELMA EVANS SMITH 1946 - 1953 FLIGHT ATTENDANT, STENOGRAPHER DEN I found Thelma's obituary while searching for Frontier obits. She is not on the Jul 1948 CHA Roster or the Nov 1955 FL Roster. I found her in two news articles from Jim Montgomery's scrapbook and a newsletter article from Feb 1952. -Jake Lamkins (12/22/16) Thelma would have been required to quit being a stewardess when she got married shortly after Frontier's formation in Jun 1950. The Feb 1952 article indicates she got another position as stenographer with the company when she married and had to quit flying. Since she's not on the Nov 1955 Frontier Roster I'm guessing she left the company about 1953. -Jake Lamkins (12/24/16) FLacebook - FL Club FLight West: Thelma Evans Smith DEN flight attendant and stenographer Thelma Evans Smith's memorial webpage is posted at http://FAL-1.tripod.com/Thelma_Evans_Smith.html Thelma started as a Challenger stewardess and became a stenographer after she got married in Jun 1950.
