(NOT IN PICTURE, KIRBY RANKIN) Brady White phoned 0938 to tell me Russell H Oharra had died yesterday. He was a CN aircraft mechanic who stayed in Texas and never went to DEN after the merger. Russell started before Brady did. Funeral will be Monday, 10 am, graveside at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth at 28th and Sylvania. He lived in Blue Mountain and obituary should be in the FTW Star-Telegram in a day or so. Bill Guthrie remembers he often wore a red leather cap. -Jake Lamkins (8/20/11) OBITUARY Russell H. O'Harra (1918 - 2011), 93, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011. Graveside service: 10 a.m. Monday in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Russell was born Feb. 13, 1918, in Findlay, Ohio, to H. Verne and Mellie M. O'Harra. He served in World War II in Panama. Afterwards, he relocated to the North Texas area where he had a lifelong love of flying and airplanes. Russell was a Mason and a Methodist.
