The above picture was taken on June 14, 1999 at the northbound Williston Rest Area; 
Roger Ballast from Aurora Colorado takes a break from his long drive. 
He said " I recognized this table as plastic lumber and that is why I sat here." 
The tables are better for the environment and a lot of people like them simply because of that.

Here is a message I received from Bill Rutherford.  
Another Frontier employee has passed on.  Roger Ballast.   
Roger had struggled with cancer for the past 3 years.

We have lived in Deshler, Nebr. for the past 8 1/2 years, so have lost touch with him and several others.

DEN station agent Roger Ballast has died
Bill Rutherford emailed,
"I am sad to let you know that Roger Ballast passed away this last Monday May  7. 
and that the services will be held next Wednesday May 16"
Does anyone have more info - I have been unable to find an online obituary.

we don't see anything on Roger yet...I am just totally shocked about this...
I went back to the site I found his sons names and phone numbers on, and when I
typed his daughter's name, his came up...I still can't believe we thought he had
already passed away...
You can save this in a favorite folder to check daily if you like...we even
bought the paper and nothing is in there yet...
