I do have a Ralph A. Turner who flew engineer for me on the 727.

Pilot seniority date of 4/5/67 on the 10/28/67  FL/CN merged pilot seniority list.
He's also on the 9/1/81 FL/ALPA seniority list but not the 9/1/85 list.
Do not know when he left FL.

Ralph used to come thru SLC on his way home to FCA.
He told me he hired on as a 727 engineer and never wanted to be a pilot.
When the 727s went he was an engineer on the 737 for a short time til that position was abolished.
He was flying the right seat on the 737 at shut down.
After that I lost track of him

We spent a lot of time with him. 
When he was going home, he had a long wait for his flight to FCA. 
I know he was hired as a flight engineer in the 727 days and never wanted to be a pilot. 
He could have made captain lots of times but was happy where he was. 
He referred to himself as " the world's oldest co-pilot" 
We all loved him and looked forward to his visits.
