PETE COUK 1952 - 1961 STATION AGENT, STATION MANAGER PHX BIE I worked from Frontier Airlines from 10-6-57 till its demise in 1986. I started in the Reservation Department which at that time was located in the Sahara Hotel in downtown Phoenix. On 1st Street. I was there till they remoted to Sky Harbor Airport and we were located in Terminal One, behind our ticket counter and next to the Operations Department. Some of the agents at that time were Carl Foster, Ira Kemp, Pete Couk, Tom Puckett, John Koehler, Jim Downs, Bob Fish, Vern Crawley, Don Blandford, Max Willis. -Ginger Treptow (2/11/06) Email to Ginger Treptow Do you recall a PHX station agent named Olin "Pete" Couk. He was a special friend, a good worker, and I enjoyed working with him. I was in Reservations at the Sahara Hotel (where our small CTO and Res was located) when I started in 1957. He worked at the Airport Station. Most helpful, kind and always willing to help if we needed it. I think he transferred out of the PHX station and went to California. Don't remember if he worked for the airlines then but was working. We kept in touch, and on my way to Hawaii and one of my trips out of the country in 1961, we connected in L A. You really stirred up some great memories by sending this to me. Thanks from the bottom of my heart.
