He was always smiling... What a pleasure to know him! Thanks, -Al Beardsley (4/22/11) When I moved to DEN in 1968 I was with someone named Don (probably Don Cecil). We were introduced to Paul and later I was told he never forgot a name or a face. Sure enough, every time he saw me, he smiled, waved and shouted, "hello Bill". Like Will Rogers, I don't think he ever met anyone he didn't like, and I sure never met anyone who didn't like him. He was a great person. -Bill Guthrie (4/22/11) Paul Robert Van Buskirk June 26, 1921 - April 19, 2011 Visitation/ServicesObituary Memorial Service Friday, April 29, 2011 | 10:01am - 11:01am 300 S Logan Street, Denver, CO 80209 | (303) 744-6113 Driving Directions -Trevino Mortuary (4/25/11) Paul Van Buskirk, DEN lead janitor, 4/19/11, age 89 6/26/1921 - 4/19/2011 89 yrs, 9 mos, 24 days #38 on the FL oldest deceased list. -Jake Lamkins (4/23/11) Funeral services for Paul Van Buskirk are scheduled for 11:00 am on Friday, April 29, 2011 at the Trevino Mortuary, 300 South Logan Street (South Logan Street at Alameda Avenue) in Denver. -Jim Montgomery (4/26/11) Paul Van Buskirk June 26, 1921 - April 19, 2011 Celebration of Life Friday April 29, 2011, 11am at Trevino Mortuary Chapel of Roses Services conclude at chapel Born: June 26, 1921 Death: April 19, 2011 Occupation: Frontier Airlines Survived By Phil Buskirk, Nephew Kim Van Buskirk, Great Niece Preceded in Death By Joseph Van Buskirk, Father Anna Nieglick Van Buskirk, Mother -Trevino Mortuary (4/28/11) Posted at the FL Club: PAUL VAN BUSKIRK 1953 - 1976? Sharon (Hooper) - Res>Benefits>FA - and I were over to Wanda Hughes' - FL Agency>Flt Ops - yesterday to watch the playoff games. Sharon said she wanted to go to the Stock Show and I said I wouldn't have it unless Nancy Stockstill (Marketing, I guess) was going to come flying into the arena on her horse carrying the American flag. Wanda said Nancy married the guy who was the contractor who supplied stock for the show and, that after Paul - janitor - left FL, they hired him to work at their ranch in Sterling. -Geoff Morneau (1/3/20)
