PAUL WAS ONE OF MY BEST AND CLOSEST FRIENDS AT FRONITER. IN FACT, PAUL WAS A GROOMSMAN IN MY WEDDING PARTY. LAST TIME I SAW PAUL WAS IN LOUISVILLE IN THE 80S AND WE HAD LUNCH AND TOLD A LOT OF WAR STORIES AND COVERED MEMORIES OF THE GOOD OLD FRONTIER. HE STARTED 4 YEARS AHEAD OF ME AND WAS 7 MONTHS OLDER. HIS WIFE PAT IS A LOVELY LADY. IF MEMORY SERVES ME RIGHT, SHE WORKED FOR CONTINENTAL AND THAT IS WHERE PAUL MET HER ON AN INTERLINE SALES TRIP. I MADE A FEW INTERLINE SALES TRIPS WITH PAUL AND WE ALWAYS HAD A GREAT TIME. THERE SHOULD BE PICTURES BOTH GROUP AND INDIVIDUAL PICTURES OF PAUL IN THE FRONTIER NEWS COPIES I SENT YOU IN THE PAST. PAUL WAS ONE OF THE GOOD ONES. HE WILL BE MISSED AND MY REGARDS TO HIS FAMILY. -HERB SCHMIDT (5/22/11) Hi Herb, I was hoping you knew Paul and would get back to me. I'll go thru some newsletters and try to find a pic of him. Do you recall when he left FL and where he went? Regards, Jake (5/22/11) I BELEIVE PAUL GLIDEWELL LEFT IN 1963 AND WENT TO TWA. TOM MAKURAT, WHO WAS DIRECTOR OF SALES, AND HIRED ME IN SALES IN JULY OF 1959, LEFT FRONTIER TO GO TO TWA AS DSM IN NYC IN LATE 1961 OR EARLY 1962.
