Received the following email from Jim Edwards regarding Montie Johnson.
Jake, I have searched (I will keep searching) and unable to locate any information.  
Could you please see if you can find information on Montie Johnson.  I know that
you are very busy and  very well informed.  I would appreciate all the help.

Do you have any information on Montie Johnson?  
I was told he passed away in Del Rio Texas on April 12 th 2014  He worked for the old FAL and worked a few years for Continental  
As I understand it, he lived in Byers in the summer months and winter homed it in Del Rio Tx.  
I belive there is a memorial service for him
at the American Legion at 11:00 am on Saturday May 24.  
I am not sure my information is accurate.  
Let me know if you can confirm this.

I have an unconfirmed report that DEN mechanic Monte Johnson 
died last month in Del Rio, Texas where he wintered.
He lived in Byers CO in the summer.
