MEL D'LOSS

I was leafing through the Obituary page today and although I can't supply any specific date info, on many of the pilot's 
listed there is no info at all. My memory is far from perfect but
I thought I'd pass along what I remember about some of these guys. 
Mel D'Loss: Mel and his girlfriend were riding a Moped around a corner in Tahiti or someplace in the Pacific and hit a truck 
head-on which was hogging the road. Both were injured
badly although the girl eventually recovered. Mel was paralyzed and spent quite a few years that way.

According to the Social Security Death Index,
Melvin D'Loss was born 13Nov33 and died 6Jan93, age 59.

Do you know what year the pix were taken?
Were they both based in DEN?

I don't know the date of either picture.  They were
both taken in Denver, Mel DLoss was taken in the  crew
room.  Bill Norris was at a FAL Christmas party.  They
both flew out of Denver, Bill was Director of Flight
Operations for a number of  years.  Hope this helps.

Nothing in Feb 1960 FL Roster or FindAGrave.
M A DLoss
Seniority date 6/12/59 on the 9/1/81 FL/ALPA Seniority List.
He is not on the 9/1/86 list.
He is last shown on the 5/85 Pilot Domicile List as DEN 737 captain.
