Jim Asplund sent a note and a copy of the Funeral Memory Card  for Mark Heerboth, station agent at MCI.
We knew that Mark had been ill for sometime....and per this information, in Hospice at the end of his life.
He passed away on March 23, 2017.
He was always in our thoughts when we came together...hoping one day he would feel up to joining us.

Mark was a very good man. I worked with him in mid 70s at MCI. 
He was  pretty much always where he needed to be. 
If he had one thing to do over it would be the closing of the door 
on the hijacked 737 from Grand Island to Atlanta. (10/20/77) 
The first time he closed it, he was still inside. 
The hijacker gave him a do over on that.
