Do you have an obituary and/or photo I can use for her memorial webpage? Or any other information? -Jake Lamkins (12/16/08) I will check with the family and let you know. -Shirley Zoretic Wade-Hayhurst (12/17/08) I used to work in Denver at the old Frontier, and for the past almost 2 years I was in contact with Marilyn Kountz. We had always been good friends since I started at FL but lost contact after bankruptcy. About a year and a half ago, we reestablished contact, as she had moved from California back to Denver after her husband, Bob Hermann suddenly died. (heart). I spoke with her about every week or so and she kept me up on her health and life as best she could. Some days were good, and some days were challenging.....but NEVER was she down. She always looked at the bright side, did the best she could and really kept on living until probably close to the end. Her highlight was last August when the whole family had a big reunion up in western Montana. In the last couple of months she had her weak days more than her strong days, but we managed a few words on the phone. Then one daI called, and the home number had been disconnected with no forward. I called her cell phone and her message had been removed and replaced, so I did leave a message but it was never returned. I knew something was going on, but had no other contact with her children.....so I just waited until this morning. Thanks for letting us know..... I am sorry I have no further information other than she was quite courageous and really meant a lot as a friend. We worked those graveyard shifts together and had some pretty good talks. I know she is at peace. -Rob Mazanec (12/17/08) Marilyn's husband Bob Hermann was a FL pilot 1968-1980s.
