LENDA PERSIKO 1971 - 1986 SECRETARY, ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT DEN There was a Linda working as the secretary in the FA office when I was flying. I believe she started after I did [Nov. 66]. She was secretary to Kay Foster and Roberta Lenihan. I don't remember her working when we were on the "A" concourse but it seems to me she started about the time we moved to the new concourse. She was always really nice to everyone and did a ton of work. I don't think I ever knew her last name. If I did I have forgotten it. I think Linda was with FAL until the bitter end. -Carol Conrad (5/28/02) She was the secretary for the Chief of the FA's. She was there until the end and she organized the DEN picnic for several years. She would come to Santa Fe every year for the opera and come by to see me so I did keep in touch with her for a while after 1986. If you get any more news - or an address - please let me know. Wish I could help with the hire date - but no idea. -Bert Brashears (5/28/02) I remember Linda, but I don't know the official dates she worked for FL. I think she was probably there at least the whole time I worked for FL, but part of those years were in DAL/DFW for me. She was in FA Management, but she was the Chief Flight Attendant's Secretary and Office Manager, if I recall. I don't think she left before the bankruptcy, because I know she was still there and took my letter of resignation when I left in March of 1986 to go to work in the Computer Industry. -Donna Harrison (5/28/02) Linda was a good friend, has something happend to her? we correspond ever christmas. She was secretary in flight attendant management from 1972 when I hired on until the bankruptcy. I know this because the day we went under she was in the office and I talked with her myself and Gene McCaleb. -Chris Bonatti (6/6/02) Lenda Persiko is in assisted living in Carbondale if anyone would like to send her a note. She loved the travels she shared with her husband to Europe, Mexico and all over the United States. Before and after her retirement, she assisted families from several foreign countries when they came to Denver, and was an interpreter for Arabic-speaking visitors. Helen Kitty Trail-Riddle Mark, oh my goodness can you tell us what she did after Frontier was shut down? I remember her so well!! Jake Lamkins http://FAL-1.tripod.com/Lenda_Persiko.html (11/7/21) Mary Avers Albeck Mark, I loved your grandmother! She was so good to me. I still have the pin she gave me when she came back from Paris! Jan Lefler Mark, what did she do after FL? We worked together in DENVER she was a special lady. Hector Barrera Mark, your kind Grandmother was so loved by countless Frontier Flight Attendants and other employees. We cherish our memories of her! Mark Persiko I am humbled and amazed at all you’ve shared about my grandmother, of the impact she had on you all after all of this time. Thank you for sharing your memories of her! After Frontier Airlines, Lenda Persiko was active in Emily Griffith Opportunity School (now Emily Griffith Technical College) and the Institute for International Education in Denver. She also did book clubs and, as many of you know, helped organize Frontier Airlines reunions for many years. She and my grandfather traveled around the country to see family each year, along with hosting reunions both at their home in Denver, and in Snowmass Village. Many, many formative memories live in my heart and mind of eating around her table, visiting in her kitchen, and just receiving her forthright love and concern for others. (11/13/21)
