Lee worked in MCI from the early 70s. -Bob Welch (8/2/11) Received word from an old friend out in Denver that Lee passed away out in Cleveland while awaiting a liver transplant. No info on services yet. Lee began with Frontier back about 70 or 71 there in Kansas City. He was from the same town as I up in Kansas. -Richard Vlach (8/2/11) Subject: Lee Henneberg Richard, I got a call from Larry Porsche last night and he said Lee wasn't doing very well. Liz just called to tell he passed away this morning. He was in Cleveland waiting for a liver. I guess he was all set up to have the transplant and they said the liver wasn't healthy enough to transplant. Don't know of any plans for services.. -Connie McAlister (8/2/11) Sorry to hear about Lee. I believe Lee went to ATL maybe when it opened for FL...possibly about 1983....or maybe at the time FL began the RIF....I am pretty sure he was there in 1984. Lee sold some great models of FL aircraft. -Rose Dragen (8/2/11) Sorry to hear about Lee Henneberg passing away. I worked with him in MKC in the early 70s. A true gentleman and a great photographer. Many of the postcards used by Frontier were photos taken by Lee. The credit on the cards is LeAllan Henneberg. They later moved to Marysville (KS). -Richard Vlach (9/14/11)
