Lamar worked for FL from 1950 - 1952. His obituary is at http://www.meaningfulfunerals.net/fh/obituaries/obituary.cfm?o_id=1346434&fh_id=13348 -Jake Lamkins (12/28/11) After purchasing Lamar's memorabilia at Ebay, I found that he started as a station agent in LAR May 16, 1950 with Monarch Airlines. Other paperwork includes the Challenger Airlines letterhead. Both airlines were operating together before the name Frontier Airlines was adopted June 1, 1950. It appears they continued using both letterheads for awhile. He left LAR for RWL after which he went to PUC where he became station manager. Later he was a SVC station manager then became a PHX relief agent. He left August 15, 1952 and joined the Air Force. -Jake Lamkins (1/10/12) Posted at FLacebook and FL Club: PUC SVC station manager Lamar Belnap's memorial webpage is posted. http://FAL-1.tripod.com/Lamar_Belnap.html Lamar had a short but interesting career at FL.
