Two more deaths in the FLamily
Just found out about the deaths of two FL Board members.
They both came on FL's Board with Tom O'Neil when RKO General
bought FL in January 1965.
John Poor was RKO General President

John was one of the longest serving FL board members: 1965-84.
He is shown on the board in the 1983 annual report which came out in the spring of 1984.
So it's safe to assume he was replaced on the board in 1984.
By 1985 General Tire had loaded the board with three O'Neils and others determined to sell FL.
It would be interesting to know why he was replaced by other General Tire executives.
Maybe he opposed their efforts to dump Frontier!??

I found a teletype message in my files from Oct 11, 1984
which noted that John Poor had resigned from the FL Bard of Directors.
