JOE PASQUA 1947 - 1984 AIRCRAFT MECHANIC DEN Subject: Joe Pasqua I recently met a lady who told me her husband had worked for Frontier Airlines when it was Monarch. He retired before 1986. She thought he would really enjoy the website. I see her every day. He was a mechanic. -Janet Keesey (5/5/06) Yes, I know who Joe Pasqua is. Quite a courageous man. He went blind in 1961 but continued working as a mechanic. His 25th FL anniversary was in 1972. I'm not sure when he retired. I'm attaching an article about him. I'll email him too. Thanks for the info. -Jake Lamkins (5/5/06) Hi Joe, I got an email from a friend of your wife's, Janet Keesey. She thought you might like our FL website. The link is below. When did you retire from FL? -Jake Lamkins (5/5/06) Thank you for getting to me so soon, and thanks for the website. I retired in 1984. I retired early because I had in thirty eight years and with my age I could retire early. I was the blind man who worked in the engine shop then in the tire and wheel shop until I retired. I saw Frontier from the beginning to almost the end. -Joe Pasqua (5/10/06) J. G. PASQUA DEN aircraft mechanic per Nov 1955 FL Roster. J. G. Joe started for Monarch on Oct 2, 1947 when he was 18 years old. -Jake Lamkins (1/10/13) I lived down the street from Joe for a while. He would feel around his front lawn for dandilions and dig them out. Amazing guy. -Jack McLaughlin (1/12/13) FLacebook posting of FL NEWS which features article on Joe. I see Joe's wife every day and Joe once in a while. He has his health issues but is doing well. They raised 5 children and now have many grand and great grands. Still live in their house. -Janet Keesey (6/23/15) I enjoyed the article about Joe Pasqua. He and I were neighbors when we were in high school. We graduated from Durango High School in 1946. As I recall his dad worked for the Denver & Rio Grande Western Railroad when it operated in the 40's & early 50's. The tracks went right by my ranch. -Vern Crawley (9/25/15) Obituary My name is Kathleen Talkington. I am the eldest daughter of exFAL employee, Joseph Pasqua. Thank you so much for honoring my father and his many years of service to Frontier Airlines. Kathleen Paqua Talkington (11/12/16) Just found Joe's Obituary and very sorry to hear of the passing of such an incredible guy. I had the good fortune to have been his guide while skiing at Winter Park for several years. We shared many, many beautiful Rocky Mountain Sundays together, and oh the stories I have. My work took me to Mexico and Joe and Dot came to visit. I have great memories and photos of Joe driving an ATV on the beach here and also piloting my JetSki. As I said, Joe was an incredible guy. And as we all know he was married to an incredible gal who was certainly much more than his wife. Sorry to just now hear, Dot. My best to the family. -Jim Kennedy, Bahia de Kino, Sonora, Mexico (3/6/17)
