JIM DAWSON 1965 - 1986 STATION AGENT, SENIOR STATION AGENT, PRESIDENTS ASSISTANT, ASSISTANT STATION MANAGER, STATION MANAGER DEN ABQ FMN PSC SEA I've been busy getting the Casino ready for the holidays and Trish said their burning up the air waves about the P. A. program. Having been one of those fine gentlemen flying aboard our 727's and a couple to times on the vomit comet better known as the CV580. As I recall, and yes I'm getting more mature daily, the program started in the latter part of 1967 and went out about 1969 in the fall I think. Vince Davis was the Manager of the program. Jack Casey, Jack Bass, Rich Cunningham, Jim Dawson, Chuck Fahrenholtz, Fred Stevens, plus the ones mentioned. I think we had about 10 or 12 that started the program and we added some more after about six months into the program. The Co. put the special phone on the aircraft so that we could call directly into reservations. They had a volunteer program called the C. S. R's that was on most of the flights. I think this was sometime in the early eighty's. I'll look through some of my old papers and see who else was in the P. A. program. It was a great program while it lasted. -Buck Hawk (11/24/04) Have ya heard anything from Jim Dawson (FMN and beyond)?
