Luginbuel, Jr. at http://obit.horanandmcconaty.com/wrapper_gb.php?id=605019&listing=Current -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Trudy, There are no words to tell you how we feel about losing Jeff. He was a wonderful person to know and work with at Frontier. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Trish and Buck Hawk Nov 23, 2008 Purcell, OK -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My boss at the Dept of Veterans Affairs said it best. Jeff's passing is the loss of a true veteran's advocate. I knew Jeff from AL Post 1 before I went to work at the VA in Lakewood. I know his service to his post was totally from his heart. We will miss him. My best goes out to Trudy and all of Jeff's family and friends. Dave Nov 21, 2008 Lakewood, CO -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I worked and laughed with Jeff at Frontier for a number of years (drank a few beers together). Then we worked together on a couple projects Jeff had with the VA. I worked for the Feds in a video studio and worked with him a couple times. He was a real caring, hardworking, professional, and gentleman at all times. We never got together to have a brew like we said we would and I regret that very much. We did talk about how much we missed the gang at Frontier. Trudy, God Bless and may you only remember the good times. Dick Shriver Nov 20, 2008 Lakewood, CO -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- He was a good person to kwow in the American Legion. Was always there if you needed some help or advise. He will be missed by all whose knew him.Ellie Eleanor Allen Nov 20, 2008 Denver, CO -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I worked in Denver Staion with Frontier with Jeff, my sincere regrets. Jim Meade Nov 20, 2008 Orlando, FL -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I had the honor of working with Jeff during the 2005 National Veterans Creative Arts Festival in Denver. I valued his expertise in the world of Public Affairs. He was a teacher and friend. My thoughts and prayers are for you and your family. Sincerely, Donna Lonergan Nov 20, 2008 Denver, CO -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Trudy: Jeff has left a lasting legacy among Legion and Auxiliary members. I will always remember traveling with him years ago when I was more active with Department. His enthusiasm was extremely infectious and his warm, gracious manner made everyone feel happy to be in his presence. May he rest in peace among his comrades. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Molly Brandt Nov 20, 2008 Brighton, CO -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Was saddened to hear of Pete's death. He was a friend from grade school through high school. We also served together at Lackland AFB, Texas when he went through basic training. My condolences to his family. He was a good man. Herman Hull Nov 20, 2008 San Antonio, TX -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We were shocked and saddened to read of Jeff's passing. We have fond memories of Trudy and Jeff and are sorry we didn't keep in closer touch. Trudy, you are in our thoughts and prayers. Alfred and Yvonne Brown Nov 20, 2008 Aurora, CO -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi Trudy, Jeff was my crewmate on the ramp at Frontier Airlines in Denver, and he regaled us with stories from his radio DJ days in that deep, booming radio personality voice. I especially remember a story about how he was on the air at a Nebraska station "in the middle of a corn field, with cows wandering around, right outside". I'm sorry to hear of his untimely passing and I know he will be greatly missed. Gary Wingert Nov 19, 2008 Fairfax, CA -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am saddened to hear of Jeff's much too early demise. I worked with him at the Old Frontier Airlines. He was a great guy! Jake Lamkins Nov 19, 2008 Fayetteville, AR -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pete was truly a buddy that could be depended on to spin quite a yarn in a manner that only he could perform. Our times together on adventures of yesteryear are memories we have always cherished. Once while passing through Denver we remember Pete appearing at our gate to greet us as though we had been expected. When collecting our bags at the final destination we discovered he had “left a message”. What a great fellow he was! He must be chuckling at our antics now! "What you see is what you get" describes Pete. He was genuine. Steve & Toni Stanley Nov 19, 2008 Vinita, OK -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Trudy - I have missed seeing Jeff on our Wed night team since he became so ill. Jeff was a really great person and he will be greatly missed. Know that we are here for you, just let us know.
