I know Bill went to work for the new Frontier in Maintenance and Michelle went to work for Continental. I lost contact with them around 1998. -Don White (12/6/13) No info on Michelle but Bill gets his FL News in Aurora. -Jake Lamkins (12/6/13) I think Michelle is in Florida!! -Gloria Croisant (12/6/13) Saw Bill at the 2012 Reunion. He had worked for the New Frontier. -Connie Mcalister (12/6/13) I heard at Doug Calvird's memorial that Michelle is retired from CO & living in Florida. I had not heard they were divorced. -Sarah Bara (1/12/14) I just received a phone call from Sam Pierce, former Frontier employee on cover of my book that former FAL Line Maintenance Supervisor, and my good friend, Greg Gregory passed away a few days ago, found in his home here in Aurora. His family, Sister, is on her way to handle situation. His Mother of 96 or older is still alive. Greg was from back East. On Monday they will shut down his favorite hangout, Noonan's Sports bar at Heather ridge, Aurora, Co, for a party for Greg. He went there almost every night for a beer or two and dinner. I called him recently, but had not been over to visit him. This makes me feel real sad as he was a good friend of mine, since 1964, and a hella of a mechanic. He told me a few Frontier stories and it was always fun to go see him. He was the one that handed the refueling slip to Rick Cochran, & Capt Rocky Crane the night they crashed in the DC-3. His last words, Merry Christmas, have a good one. Further information as I receive it. -Bonnie Dahl (1/21/16) I'm sorry for your loss, Bonnie. Let me know any details you get. -Jake Lamkins (1/21/16) FLacebook Greg Gregory went West on 1-21-16, He was Frontier's best mechanic and my good friend & neighbor. Goodbye my friend! -Bonnie Dahl (1/22/16) My gosh, he always had a friendly word to say, so sorry to hear about Greg. -Ruth Pitts (1/22/16) Sorry to hear about Greg. He was a nice guy, always friendly. -Joanne Griffin (1/22/16) Good guy, hate to see all our old friends going. -Jack McLaughlin (1/22/16) Loved this guy! -Lisa Kerr Zeman (1/22/16) Sorry for your loss Bonnie. Good friends and neighbors are hard to come by. They are few and far between. May he R. I. P. -Ginger Treptow (1/22/16) I talked further to Sam Pierce. It was Noonan's bar that noticed that Greg was missing, where he hung out every night for beer and dinner. Greg didn't show up for 2 nights, so Wednesday they called fire department to check on him and they found him on the kitchen floor, apparently dead of a heart attack. Greg is from Connecticut, his Sister Nancy is on her way to Denver. Greg and his first wife had 2 children, daughter here in Arvada and a son, not sure where he lives. Greg was then married to Michelle Gregory (Wooding) who lives in Florida. Greg's Mother is still living , age 95 or so in her own home in Connecticut. Party Monday night at Noonan's Sports Bar & Grill at 7:30 for Greg, 13521, E Iliff, Aurora, Co 80014. It's in the old Heather Ridge Country Club building. -Bonnie Dahl (1/22/16) Thanks for the info, Bonnie. Was he mostly called Bill or Greg? Wooding was a FL FA, right? -Jake Lamkins (1/23/16) As far as I know we always called him Greg. Party at Noonan's Sports bar, Monday Jan 25, has been canceled. Mechanical problems with beverage dispenser in bar according to Jared, bar Manager. -Bonnie Dahl (1/24/16) Just talked to Susan, Greg's Sister. She lives in Rhode Island. She's coming in to DEN tomorrow, Tuesday the 26 to handle Greg's affairs. To the family. He was Bill. Greg born February , 1942, he would have been 74. He wants no funeral, just cremated and ashes at his favorite place in Connecticut. She will be here till Friday night. She was in complete shock over losing her youngest Brother. So when she writes obituary for his home back East I will get it to you, & maybe talk her into short one for DEN paper. Greg did die of massive heart attack, had heart medicine by his bed, he never mentioned that to his sister or me. Greg had a son & a daughter & 2 grandkids here in DEN. Son Derrick lives in Wyoming. Greg left me his Frontier stuff in his will, so boxes coming to my home & maybe a coffee table with a/c engine under the glass. So I don't know what I'll do with all this stuff, maybe share it, keep some & maybe send some to your museum. I didn't expect him to die, he looked healthy as could be. So maybe Party at Noonan's Sports bar later date. -Bonnie Dahl (1/24/16) Thanks for the update Bonnie and send his obit when you get it. -Jake Lamkins (1/26/16) Photo of Greg in 1982 is reprinted with permission from the book FROM THE COCKPIT TO THE GALLEY by Bonnie C.
