Taylor will resign Sept. 30 as senior vice-president of the Valley National Bank. Taylor has been associated with the Valley National Bank for the past 25 years as head of the loan department and a member of the Taylor trust investment. He will continue as a director and adviser. In addition to his present banking affiliations, he is a director of the Bank of Flagstaff, the Southwest Lumber Mills, Allison Steel Manufacturing Co., and Frontier Airlines. He also is active in Phoenix civic work. -Arizona Republic on Thursday, September 20, 1951 (3/14/16) Glenn was Arizona Airways' man at the bank from at least 1946. I'm not sure if he was on the AZ board of directors but he was heavily involved in AZ's development and came to the Frontier board upon the 1950 merger. As late as March, 1957 the wrangling over AZ debts was going on with Glenn's bank, Valley National. See http://law.justia.com/cases/arizona/supreme-court/1957/5970-0.html I'm not sure when he left FL's Board. His daughter was PHX mayor when he died. -Jake Lamkins (3/16/16) FLacebook - FL Club FLight West: Glenn Taylor PHX DEN board of directors member Glenn Taylor's memorial webpage has been posted: http://FAL-1.tripod.com/Glenn_Taylor.html Glenn was heavily involved with Arizona Airways and was probably on their board of directors. He was on Frontier's first board in 1950. Still need a photo of Glenn. -Jake Lamkins (3/16/16)
