He died on 9/3/01 sitting in a chair in his living room. It was a heart attack, he had had some problems for quite a while but never gave up his lively spirit. We went to a memorial service for him yesterday. I will mail you a copy of the obituary so you can use some of it in next newsletter if you wish. Joyce, his widow, would like to get the newsletters, so I will also send you $10.00 for her first year subscription. Her address is: Joyce Harrison, 727 Montbrook, Ofallon, Mo 63366. -Roy Schreder (9-09-01) Thanks for the info, Roy. Please send me the obituary. I'll get a newsletter in the mail tomorrow to Joyce. He was a great guy and a pleasure to work with. He was a good senior agent and knew how to delegate duties. He knew how to get things handled without creating complications and without resentment from his agents. He liked working with electronics. Me too. I learned alot from him involving electronics. -Chuck Tisckos (9-09-01) I remember Gene very well, and we used to joke about being "related" because of our last name being the same. He was a really great guy and a hard worker. My prayers go out to his family. -Donna Harrison, DFW/DEN FA (9-10-01) DELMAR E HARRISON Born 10 Aug 1937 Died 03 Sep 2001 Age 64 At 63366 O Fallon, MO SSN issued in Missouri -SSDI (3/31/11) D E HARRISON: Station agent seniority date of 10/24/57, emp# 03484, on the 1/1/86 FL/ALEA Seniority List.
