GAYLE DEEDMAN MUHLENKAMP 1962 - 1968 FLIGHT ATTENDANT DEN I located Gayle Deedman/Muhlenkamp who was in my class in Aug of 1962. She is living in California and I think her Sister, Beth Deedman, who was also a FA subscribes to your newsletter. When I was trying to find Gayle I should have checked with you. -Bonnie Dahl (11/7/11) It is with a sadden heart that I inform you belatedly of Gayle's passing on June 18, 2012. Gayle's condition took a major turn south about June 12th. The family and I will miss her immensely; our grief is tempered by knowing that she left this earth peacefully and with minimal pain and suffering before wheels up in route to heaven. There will be a funeral mass and a memorial luncheon in her honor on Monday June, 25, 2012. -Dale Muhlenkamp (6/23/12) Gayle Deedman started flying with FAL in Aug, 1962 then left to get married in about 1975. She was in my class same hire date as mine. She is in three photos in our book as she was involved in the delivery of the B-727. She had been fighting a battle with breast cancer and I did get a book to her last Fall. I talked with her several times on the phone, it was nice to be in touch. She was a wonderful friend and fellow stewardess. She had 5 children and a great husband. Gayle lived in Tustin, CA Her Sister Beth Deedman was also a stewardess starting with FL in about 1959. I think she subscribed to your newsletter. -Bonnie Dahl (6/24/12) Gayle is not on the 8/1/74 FL/AFA Seniority List so Bonnie must be mistaken about her leaving in 1975. I will show her leaving in 1974 until I got more info. G DEEDMAN DEN flight attendant, per the 8/15/63 - 7/15/66 Sales & Service Personnel Rosters. -Jake Lamkins (6/24/12) Former stewardess Gayle Deedman died 18th June, 2012. Her memorial was 25 June, 2012 in Tustin, CA. Her sister Elizabeth Deedman, also a former Frontier Stewardess, will be sending more information. -Joe Ferguson (6/30/12) Sorry to hear of her passing. Knew her sister Beth, not familiar with Gayle. May she Rest in Peace. -Ginger Treptow (7/1/12) I just talked to Gayle's husband, Dale Muhlenkamp. There is no obituary published. But they had a service and reception. She had 5 children and I'm not sure how many grand children. She had 3 years after the diagnosis, she was a tough lady. Her husband is going to send me one of the notices from her services, so I will share the information with you when I receive it. He's still very sad about the loss of his beautiful wife. -Bonnie Dahl (7/2/12) Five photos of Gayle Deedman, Stewardess Shari Salsbury, Dick Cochran and Gayle Deedman Gayle Deedman, Jack Gardner, Joyce Gonzales, seated Susie Landis Shari Salsbury and Gayle Deedman, delivery of B-727 (about 1967) Photo of Gayle Deedman and Susie Landis in Stew room Gayle Deedman 1967 -Bonnie Dahl (7/4/12) Posted at FLacebook and the FL Club: Flight attendant Gayle Deedman Muhlenkamp's memorial webpage has been posted. http://FAL-1.tripod.com/Gayle_Deedman_Muhlenkamp.html Still need a photo and an obituary. Post your remembrances of Gayle. -Jake Lamkins (7/6/12) This is all they sent me from the Memorial service. The only things I can add is that she was hired by Frontier Airlines and graduated as a Stewardess on August 4, 1962. (In my class). She and I were roommates for several years. Her Sister Beth was also a Stewardess for Frontier. Gayle retired in 1968 to marry Dale Muhlenkamp. She had 5 children and 2 grand children. Special Note about Gayle, about March, 2012, she became a U.S. Citizen! She was so proud of that! Gayle was from Winnipeg, Canada. Gayle was a special, beautiful person. She was a great, hard working, friendly flight attendant and fun as a friend and roommate. Always perfectly groomed and graceful. She spoke with perfect English and also spoke French which she learned in Canada as a Student. We went on two trips touring Europe on SAS Airlines special deals for employees. (to get information on Beth’s hire date and etc, I will have to call her.) -Bonnie Dahl (7/23/12)
