DOUG MARTIN 1963 - 1963 STATION AGENT TBN Doug worked for CN at TBN. He only worked a month or so then went to work for OZ and transferred to CGI for a while and wound up in STL writing manuals for OZ. This is his obit. Martin, Douglas, 68, of St. Peters died on Sunday, May 1, 2011 at St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles. Mr. Martin was born on September 1, 1942 in St. Louis; he grew up in Dixon, Missouri alongside sisters Darlene Ramsey and Donna Eutsler, both of whom survive. Mr. Martin worked for Ozark Airlines as a procedure trainer and program writer for 23 years prior to joining TWA after their acquisition of Ozark Airlines. After leaving TWA in 1991, he joined General American Insurance as a computer programmer, retiring in 2002. Mr. Martin helped establish Interactive Internet Database Solutions, a web design and e-commerce business he ran from home throughout his retirement. Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his parents, Pansy and Raymond Martin, along with his son, Craig Martin. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sue Martin, daughters Cathleen Dell of Killeen, Texas and Lynette Martin of St. Louis, along with his grandson, Clinton Garoutte of Killeen, Texas. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Jo Janis of St. Peters and sister-in-law Wanda Kotovsky of O'Fallon, Missouri. He was an active member of Harvester Christian Church in St. Charles. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Chapel of Harvester Christian Church in St. Charles, followed by a memorial service starting immediately after at 7:00 PM. A private burial will follow.
