DOROTHY MEISENBACH 1947 - 1953 SECRETARY DEN WIFE OF BOB MEISENBACH, DEN DIRECTOR-BASE OVERHAUL Enclosed is my check in the amount of $10.00 for a subscription to the Frontier News. Thank you for the nice article on my husband (Bob Meisenbach). We both worked for Frontier. I worked there in the Monarch years and into Frontier. Bob was there 38 years. It was a great company to work for. Thank you again, -Dorothy Meisenbach (4/28/06) Enclosed is my check for $10 to cover this year's subscription. I have enjoyed reading your paper. You asked when I worked for FAL. It was in the 40s & 50s. I worked as a secretary in the Log & Inspection Office. My husband was there 38 years so I always felt part of the company even though I wasn't working there in later years. FAL was very special to us as it was to many of the employees. -Dorothy Meisenbach (3/3/07) Her subscription lapsed so I did a web search and found nothing about her death. -Jake Lamkins (10/9/12) Ex-employee info FYI... In the Denver Post, today's paper, a death notice of Dorothy Meisenbach , August 4, 1921-June 26, 2018, was noted. She was an employee of Monarch/Frontier Airlines in the "1946 beginnings", worked with Harry Summerton, in the Records Dept. Her husband, Bob Meisenbach, Lead Mechanic, etc. and Dorothy, were two of the first early Maintenance employees. I was a secretary for Jack Burnell, at that time. It was there that I met Harry Duff and we married in 1948. I have so many fond memories of those years. -Faye (Shields) Duff. (7/1/18) Hi Faye, Thank you for letting me know about Dorothy. Hope you are well.
