Another FAL went west- Don Haven passed away Monday, Sept 5th after a long battle with Parkinson's. 
He was 68 - started with FAL in 1960 until 1986. 
He moved with his wife to Eugene, OR in June of 2000 
after being diagnosed with Parkinson's so he could be close to a daughter.
For the 19 of my 23 years with FAL, I worked with Don.  
He was #1 in seniority here at  the GTF station.

Was sorry to hear about Don Haven dying.
I knew him from going into Great Falls on regular basis while stationed in Billings. 
Don worked for Jim Senstad.  Jim hired Don.
I'll look through some of my older earlier 1960s FL newsletters and see if there might be a picture.

I was struck by Don's award for customer service.
That sort of thing was not uncommon at Frontier.
I'll bet all the FLolks have similar stories of the extra effort 
that happened every day on our system.
Another reason Frontier Airlines was so extraordinary.

I was born and raised and learned to fly in Glasgow Montana. 
All I wanted to do was "fly for Frontier"! 
I used to "sneak out of study hall" to ride my motorcycle up to GGW 
so I could "help" when the Frontier flight would come through. 
In January 1978 my dream came true when Frontier hired me as a pilot. 
I knew Don and many more good people just like him at Frontier.... 
The best job I ever had!
