He was a Foreman on Line. Den.

Don was a line maintenance foreman. 
A couple of his other interests were old trucks and off road race cars. 
He and I worked part time for the late Mickey Thompson for several Years on his off road race cars.

He helped us start F9 along with Arbie Dillow and others 
who used their hard won talents to keep our ~30 year old Boeing’s 
aloft with little more than duct tape, safety wire and spit.

Don and I were good friends.  
Lived a couple blocks apart in Arvada until he moved to Brighton.  
Have been in contact with his ex-wife.  
His Daughter is now getting his trucks ready to go to museums.
Her name is Kristi Chew Hayes
Was not aware of his death until I was watching a story on Mickey Thompson, the racer.  
Don was with him on many Baja runs. 
Don was one interesting man to talk to.
