The 1970 Annual Report notes that Dan A. Kimball died in 1970.
He was from Aerojet-General Corp, subsidiary of General Tire.
A Jan 22, 1965 newspaper article says Kimball came on board with Tom O'Neil and John Poor
after RKO General purchased 55% of the airline in January, 1965.
It would be interesting to know what role, if any,  
Dan played in bringing Al Feldman from Aerojet General to Frontier.

Two more deaths in the FLamily
Just found out about the deaths of two FL Board members.
They both came on FL's Board with Tom O'Neil when RKO General
bought FL in January 1965.
John Poor was RKO General President

While not well known by FL's rank and file,
Dan had an illustrious career which included
being Secretary of the Navy through much of the Korean War
and running Aerojet General where Al Feldman worked.
I found about Dan recently when I purchased a 1970 FL Annual Report.
