Washington died of AIDs in the early 90s, maybe '92.  
He came to Northwest Airlines at the same time I did.

He may have gone to NW after the bankruptcy.
He died about 1992.

He went to NWA and was based in DTW. 
He passed away from complications of HIV/AIDS.

I remember Buddy. He was close to my seniority and we flew together quite a bit. 
He was a class act. I also knew that he had gone to NWA after FL, 
and had heard of his passing a few years later.
