I live in Houston, TX, and today my man and I went for a ride on a DC-3 in southeast Houston (sightseeing thing.) Took me back to 1958 when I first fell in love with DC-3s and Frontier Airlines in Sidney, Montana. Somehow I got on your website after I got home and started looking up Frontier, etc. You had a picture of Bob Lutkiewicz as a station agent in Denver. Do you know if he ever worked as one in Sidney, Montana, before going to Denver? As he's now deceased, there's no way to find out, but I dated a young man name 'Luke' Lukiewicz around 1960-61. Just wondering.... I'm hooked on your website. Been on it for 10 hrs now. Thanks for a great day! -Carole Bellinghausen (5/14/11) Hi Carole, I'm delighted you have enjoyed my Frontier website. Bob was a relief agent based in Billings, Montana in 1960 so he would have worked at Sidney, Montana when someone was on vacation and he was sometimes known as Luke. Did you ever work for Frontier? Enjoy your memories and I'm glad to have helped. Best regards, -Jake Lamkins (5/14/11) I'm deeply saddened to learn of the passing of any and all of our marvelous Frontier family. The Spring issue (#43) of the Frontier News is to me extremely poignant because I personally knew the majority of those reported "Gone West" .I've worked with Don Cope, "Luke" Lutkiewicz and Johnny Gibb. All of whom were indeed the "Salt of the Earth" and made our Bird (Frontier Airlines) really Fly. -Bob Pearson (6/10/11) R L LUTKIEWICZ Emp# 05374, ORG# 3301 - DENOO DOB 1/23/27 DOH 5/5/52 Station agent seniority date of 10/1/53, # 12 per the Oct 1986 FL/ALEA Seniority List -Jake Lamkins (8/28/16) FLacebook - FL Club FLight West - Bob Lutkiewicz DEN senior station agent Bob Lutkiewicz's memorial webpage has been updated: http://FAL-1.tripod.com/Bob_Lutkiewicz.html Several items added but still need an obituary for Bob. -Jake Lamkins (8/29/16) Super nice man! -Shari Oliver Salsbury (8/29/16) Believe he was the bag room supervisor... nice guy.................... -Marvin Euteneuer (8/29/16)
