It was a pleasure to call Bob my teammate while he was at Baxa and an even more pleasure to call him my friend. I was lucky to keep in contact after he left via email and phone. He was such a caring and helpful person and will be missed very much. God Bless to Bob and his loving family. ~ Valerie Mainguy, Tampa, Florida November 13, 2010 Dear Johnson Family, May God's grace fill your broken hearts with peace. I was blessed to meet Bob while we worked together at Baxa. He was a wonderful friend and mentor. His dry wit and kind spirit touched so many lives. He loved you all so much and literally beemed when he spoke of you which was often. I will miss you BobbyJ. ~ Lori Oberg, Burnsville, Minnesota November 12, 2010 Laura, Erik, Emily and George, Bob had a kind and gentle soul, celebrate his life and cherish the memories of your life together. Our condolences to his family. ~ Jake Lamkins, Fayetteville, Arkansas November 11, 2010 Dear Laura and The Johnson Family, We just heard from Barbara Vaughn today of Bob's passing. We are now going through what all of those who knew Bob and Laura have been feeling since Saturday.. We are in shock and so sad. We knew Bob as the involved and supportive father to Erik, Emily, and George. Met the whole family through Adam's Camp. We spent time with the Johnson Family through the early years of Adam's Camp and we were impressed at the cohesion and love shown as a family group who was dealing with Erik's needs at the time. Bob and I were born on the same day and I wish that I had kept the funny card that he sent me on one of our birthdays many years ago. I will be thinking of him on Jan. 8th. Our Love and Prayers, Jeanne and Greg Spahn ~ Jeanne and Greg Spahn, Denver,, Colorado November 11, 2010 Many of us at Baxa are stunned and saddened by your loss. Bob was a gentle and caring man. Know that there are many thoughts and prayers reaching out to you and your family at this time. ~ Laurel Ditson, Englewood, Colorado November 11, 2010 I have only known Bob for a relatively short period, but he had a profound impact on me. He was smart, thoughtful and caring. I will miss him. My deepest condolences. ~ John Shearer, Littleton, Colorado November 11, 2010 As I read this, tears are flowing down... rest in peace Bob and God Bless your family and friends. Carl ~ Carl Granfors, Gallup, New Mexico November 11, 2010 Dear Laura and the entire Johnson Family, I am so deeply sorry to hear of the loss of such a wonderful husband, father, and man. I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Bob at Data Documents so many years ago... he was so very nice to work with and he had such integrity. I remember how excited he was after the birth of your first child! It was heartwarming to listen to him talk so lovingly about his family. I lost my husband not long ago and the best advice I ever received was to "take one moment at a time" when it seems too hard to handle. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. May God be with you and yours! ~ Shirley Jerman, Georgia November 11, 2010 Dearest Laura, Erik, Emily and George. Dearest Esther, Ollie and Lynn. Heartbroken my family and I share your grief and sorrow during this difficult time. Our warmest thoughts go to you all. I loved Bob tremendously. My American "little brother", who helped me adapt into his family and feel so welcome when back in '67 I was an exchange student in his childhood home. He has been "family" to me ever since and will always be in my heart. Do wish I could have joined you tomorrow, but the physical distance is too far. However, my husband, son and I will be with you in our thoughts. With our love ~ Kirsten, Steen & Jan Langer, Copenhagen, Denmark November 11, 2010 One of the finest people I'll ever know. The man I always wanted to be, but never was. I'll miss him dearly, and my thoughts and prayers are with Laura, Erik, Emily and George. ~ Neal Linkon, Mequon, Wisconsin November 10, 2010 Laura and Family, My deepest condolences to you and the rest of Bobs family.
