His last name is misspelled in Ken Schultz's database and we don't even have his full name. Post any info you have on Andy. -Jake Lamkins (2/18/13) If this is the Andy I'm thinking of several things come to mind. First off, he was an excelent cartoonist and kept us mechanics laughing. You could always tell it was Andy on a cold winter day because he never wore long sleeves. I pretty certain that Andy went to work for Piedmont in Indy. -Marsh, the muleman, Bates (2/19/13) Yep, But I believe his last name was Elliott. We work together as cleaners and then on the ramp as technicians. Him Line maint, me GSE maint. Some of his greatest cartoons were the "Elephant Airstart cartoon". If you saw it you know what I mean. One use in a grievance was " Lady on the ice bucket" and Fat Albert cartoon. By the way Howdy to you Muleman. Glad to see some of the guys I knew are still around. -Pat Kern (2/20/13) I think Marsh (My old Evergreen nabe) is confusing Andy Elliot with Andy Anderson. Elliot started as a cleaner and went into Maint about 1978. He was an awesome cartoonist and had turned down jobs at the Denver Post. He did work the DEN line and did not wear a coat nor long sleeve's ever. Andy Anderson was a Heavy Check Tech, do not recall him ever on the DEN line and the age and hire dates fit. Marsh, one of your Mules musta kicked ya in the head. -Jim Taylor (2/20/13)
