Does anyone know what Flight Attendants Rua-Schubert and 
Bertha (Birdie) Utley (formerly Herrera) are up to these days????

I heard from Rua Schubert a few months ago. 
She is getting more treatment for her cancer but is back to flying.

Alana Schubert, flight attendant for FAL and CAL passed away last night from cancer. 
She was a good friend and will be remembered for her kindness and outgoing personality. 
She started as a flight attendant at FAL in 1981 and went on to Continental. 
Gone but not forgotten. Sympathy to her family today.

Alana was a great flying friend and I will miss her. 
She was so sick at the end. 
I kept in touch with her through email and cards. 
Always so sad to lose a good friend, especially Alana.
She was a very vibrant girl with a great personality and smile. 
I will miss her.

I remember Alana well. 
I used the pool at her townhome when she lived just up the street from me in Aurora. 
We hung out alot together. 
I got to meet her family in Kansas City(?) quite a long time ago. 
I'm sad I didn't get to catch up with her before she passed.

Alana and I were roommates for several years after flight attendant training in 1980. 
We lost touch many years ago, but I am so sad to learn of this. She was a lovely girl.
